Gangnam Style

2522269-psy-gangnam-style-617-409PSY ripped the global music scene with his song, Gangnam Style, a single from his 6th album. The music video has been viewed over 944million times on YouTube and “Gangnam Style” was recognized by Guinness World Records as the most ‘liked’ video in YouTube history. PSY is recognized by the media as the “King of YouTube”. Its global effect is insane; pure madness! But wait. It’s his 6th album.

What’s the story behind the explosion? How about his journey? Park Jae-Sang is PSY’s real name…just thought you should know.

John Maxwell’s Law of Process explains this phenomenon. It says that: Leadership is developed daily, not in a day. Six albums later, it took PSY at least 16years of conscious work and process to get here. No overnight success.

PSY had to learn, make mistakes, change, grow and work on his craft daily for Gangnam Style to occur. All his effort over the years compounded to this one explosive moment. It’s exciting now, but aspects of the journey are mixed with many challenges. Success is a process.  Appreciate your journey…and who knows, you might be the next big thing.
