Do you have that one friend that has big dreams, but lacks the Know-How to make it work? I had one in college. He talked big and had expensive taste, but lacked the skill to make his dreams happen. Hence, nothing happened.
It’s not enough to have a dream. The skill to navigate from dream to reality is equally important.
According to John Maxwell, it’s the Law of Navigation and it states that: anyone can steer the ship, but it takes a leader to chart the course.
As a leader, it is wise to develop good navigation skills or have someone on your team with it. Every dream comes with its required steps to make it reality and effective leaders know how to put path finding systems in place. This is sometimes the difference between frustrating and fulfilling leadership.
On this note, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and enjoy a happy holiday season.
